The plan provides the framework for the key activities, priority areas, challenges, and opportunities the Office will be focusing on over the period 2024-25 to 2027-28.



APS Census Action Plans


Our 2024 APS Census Action Plan outlines what the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman hopes to achieve over the next 12 months.

This plan is put in place for the Office to consider the steps and resources required to achieve these outcomes and improve in areas such as communication, performance and wellbeing.



Reconciliation Action Plan


Our Reconciliation Action Plan outlines the innovative activities the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman will undertake over the next two years.

This plan represents the Office’s ongoing commitment to ensuring culturally inclusive, high-quality complaints handling and effective outcomes for First Nations peoples.

Multicultural Access and Equity Plans


Our Office envisions equitable access to our services so all Australians, regardless of their cultural and linguistic background, are safeguarded in their dealings with Australian Government agencies and prescribed private sector organisations.



Workplace Diversity Plans


The Office’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy 2018–2021 sets out our commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion in the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman. It details the actions we will implement and have in place to ensure that we value and respect the diversity of our employees, stakeholders and partners.
