International partnerships

Our partnerships are built on collaborative relationships of mutual trust, respect, professionalism, sharing of ideas and open dialogue.

We participate in forums, roundtables, workshops and webinars to share our knowledge and experiences and learn from our partners.

The Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman is a member of the:

• Australasia Pacific Ombudsman Region (APOR)
  A forum for cooperation and learning for Ombudsman and other integrity organisations in the Pacific and Australasia.
• International Ombudsman Institute (IOI)
  A global organisation for the cooperation of more than 200 independent Ombudsman institutions from more than 100 countries worldwide.

The Office works with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to deliver capacity building activities to the Ombudsman Republic Indonesia (ORI).
